FRIOPORT offers its temperature-controlled logistics storage services in one of the most attractive ports on the Cantabrian Coast. Located in the free zone of the port of Bilbao (Santurce), with more than 4,000 square meters of facilities and 250 meters of preferential berthing with a draft of 10 meters, it has been designed to become a valuable ally for your operations in the international traffic of refrigerated and frozen goods.
FRIOPORT Logistics Services – A multi-purpose cold storage warehouse
FRIOPORT's facilities have an area of over 4,000 m², totaling a storage capacity of 25,000 m³ and 5,000 tons of product.
Different storage modules allow for preservation at temperatures ranging from +12 to -5 ºC in fresh/chilled conditions and down to -22 ºC in frozen conditions. Additionally, there is a room for product handling, always under controlled temperature conditions.
Port warehouse in the customs area
The warehouse is located within the customs area of the Port of Bilbao. Placing the goods under a customs procedure allows for their storage, postponing the payment of taxes and duties until clearance or re-export.
We have the AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) certificate, which demonstrates our commitment to customs security and our full integration with the Bilbao customs office.

Handling of chilled products at the port
The warehouse has ample space for handling. We specialize in loading/unloading, palletizing, and handling of all types of goods.
Weighing, sorting, packaging, labeling, order preparation, and related activities are also offered. The handling room offers the possibility of also carrying out cutting, dicing, glazing and other services for seafood products.
Transshipments of goods for export or import
In the heart of the port of Bilbao, and 5 minutes from the container terminal, FRIOPORT is an ideal location for transshipments of goods for export or import, whether temperature-controlled or ambient.

Tax representation
Foreign exporters who want to sell directly in Spain but do not have their own staff and infrastructure can, through this service, sell their product already nationalized (with taxes and tariffs paid) and import procedures resolved. We have a DDA (Non-Customs Warehouse).
